microsilica (silica fume)is a byproduct of producing silicon metal or ferrosilicon .. the smoke that results from furnace operation is collected and sold as silica fume, rather than being landfilled. silica fume consists primarily of amorphous (non-crystalline) silicon dioxide (sio2).its average granule diameter is 0.1-0.15um, which is smaller than 1% of cement. its b.e.t fineness is 15-27m2/g, which is a very reactive pozzolan. our products content of sio2 between 85% to 95%.
