The scope of temperature suitable for using belt conveyor is－20°---＋40°and the temperature of materials conveyed should be below 50°. In order to confirm the weight of materials on the rubber belt, materials to be transported should be weighed by weightometer first. At the same time, digital speed detection system installed in the rear is continuously measuring the operating speed of feeder which should be directly proportional to the velocity pulse output. Speed signal and weight signal are together transmitted to the controller of the feeder and detected by the microprocessor of the controller, thus the materials’ accumulation and instaneous flowrate can be showed out. Finally, the results measured should be compared with the flowrate set and the controller controls belt conveyor under the help of the information. So it is easy to achieve quantitative feed.
