We want to use this medium to request your Company to kindly forward a quotation for equipment listed below for a 15 MW Biomass Gasification Power Plant. Our Company J.J. Environmental Consulting & Construction was recently awarded an EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Management) for a 15 MW Biomass Gasification Power Plant. Our Client requires our Company to submit quotes for various components of this proposed facility of which different Biomass Power Plant Equipment Requirements are an important part and your Company has been listed as a very reputable one known for good quality products. We, therefore, kindly request that you forward to us, a complete quote based on the terms and conditions, specifications of the documents and standards to be provided, once you provide us with complete contact information. In general, attached you find three documents; which will be your guidelines: CAR-ENAD-DES-REP-JJC-000-40001-00_E01 REVISED (Design Capacity Report), CAR-ENAD-EHIA-REP-JJC-000-40002-00_E01 REVISED (Environmental and Health Impact Assessment Report), CAR-ENAD-PUR-RFQ-JJC-000-40003-00_E01 (Request for Quotation). The estimate closing date is December 5th 2010. Quote must be on a basis DDP Caribbean island to be determined, please include delivery time after PO is placed, validity time of the quote, terms and conditions. Precommissioning and commissioning must be included in the proposal. The attached RFQ Technical Package, document number CAR-ENAD-PUR-RFQ-JJC-000-40003-00_E01 includes as well a complete description of the estimated heavy equipment requirements, in which you will quote their equivalents. Also attached you will find Document No: CAR-ENAD-REP-JJC-000-40002-00_E01 REVISED; which is an Environmental and Health Impact Assessment Report. This syngas would be processed in a boiler; however invited companies must clearly indicate the BTU/kW-hr efficiency of the boilers, required to generate enough syngas for 15 MW. Note: Stocker Boiler must burn just about any type of biomass and coal. Plase include emmissions controls; which is most important to cover all environmental aspects, please read carefully, Doc. No: CAR-ENAD-REP-JJC-000-40002-00_E01 REVISED mentioned above. We have specified a batch process gasification system. On the other hand invited companies are welcomed to challenge the project and present different alternatives using a more traditional fluidized bed energy system. We are also interested in companies that could provide an energy system designed to produce the steam required to generate 15 MW of electricity and/or could process the coal, sorted municipal waste and potentially other fuels in a single fluidized bed boiler system meeting the emissions requirements. These systems are fueled on hundreds of fuels including sorted municipal waste, sewage sludge, olive wastes and hundreds of other agricultural wastes, wood wastes of all types, coal, pet coke and many other fuels.
