kbk plascon pvt. ltd. (an iso 1991:2000 certified company) kbk plascon pvt. ltd. was incorporated as a private limied company on 4th june 1988 under the companies act, 1956, in the state of uttar pradesh, having its registered office at 24/168, birhana road, kanpur 208001. the factory is situated in the govt. industrial estate, akrampur, unnao distt. u.p. this is the second largest unit of khanna group. the main objectives of the formation of the company was to manufacture out of polymer and sale of engineering plastic products. the main items of production are liners, liner plates, suction box, doctor blade, hydro foils, gear and pinions, centricleaners, sealing strips, vacuum box, forming board, buggley box, t-bar, bushes, conveyor wear platews, pp grills, polyurethene wear disc. bolt couplings, rollers, covers for air seplarators, washers, nozzles, pads, strips, wiper and wiper plates for conveyeor belts, bushings, neoprene rubber gaskets, cooling water troughs, blades, idlers, guides, reinforced wheels, impellers, melt castings and spring moulding, injection moulding, extrusion, thread forming etc. out of plastic raw materials such as uhmw pe, hdpe, pp, ldpe, pvc, nylon, polymer, urethane, abc etc. the company supplies its products to industries like steel plants, paper machinery manufacturing units, paper, pulp, board and packaging industries, bottling industries, conveyor systems, cement, fertilizers, sugar, food, chemicals, bottling plants, water treatment plants etc. the turnover during the year 2007-08 is rs.935.00 lakhs, 2006-07 rs.767.34 lakhs, 2005-06 – rs.380.78 lakhs, 2004-05 – rs.293.55 lakhs and estimated turnover for the current year 2008-09 is rs.9.50 lakhs. the company also exports its products to countries like pakistan, bangladesh, nepal, kenya and zambia. the company has a fully equipped quality control section and carries out in-process testing and final inspection strictly to ensure that the specifications/standards required by the customers are fully met. the company has imported one super plank extruder from china and one rover machine from italy during the last quarter of 2007-08 to increase its production efficiency. the company has not made any marketing tie up with any other company. the products are sold directly to the customers or through dealers. orders are booked by our sales executives and other appointed agents. the industrial relations in the company is quite satisfactory and there has been no stoppage of production since its inception on account of any labour problems. the company has necessary infrastructure and technical facilities to fabricate critical engineering products strictly according to the specifications/drawings of the customers.
